He came to Ironwood as a boy in 1892. In 1896 he was naturalized as a US citizen. Casimir married Catherine Banaszak in Ironwood in July of 1903...She was born November 7, 1877 in Jarocin, in the Posnan Province of what is now Poland. According to family research, Catherine had been betrohed to an old invalid of the Prussian nobility and fled with her brother and sister-in-law, arriving in Ironwood in January of 1903. Casimir died November 1, 1925.
